Most Chapter 01 pieces are made to order. You reserve your size and colour with a deposit, we cut and sew, and the balance is settled before your piece is dispatched or collected. Each product page shows its own production lead time.

Yes — while the order is still awaiting payment you can cancel it from your account. Once a pre-order has entered production, message us and we will do what we can.

Our pieces are cut for modest coverage with generous ease through the sleeve and skirt. Check the size guide on each product page; between sizes, we suggest sizing up.

For some pieces, yes. Send us your measurements on WhatsApp and we will tell you what is possible and what it would cost.

We deliver across Zimbabwe, into Southern Africa, and internationally. Collection in Harare is also available. Delivery fees and timelines are shown at checkout and on the Shipping page.

In-stock pieces dispatch within 1–2 working days. Pre-order pieces follow the production lead time shown on the product page, then ship as normal.

Cool machine wash with like colours, do not bleach, warm iron on the reverse, and line dry in shade. Each product page lists care instructions specific to its fabric.

“Ngano dzedu” means “our stories” or “our tales” in Shona. We believe clothing can carry identity, memory and meaning — so we named the brand after the stories that do the same.
